Traditional pub in the lovely town of Glasson Dock. Beer is well kept... especially the Thwaites original Bitter which went down a treat. Didn't try the food but the home cooked menu looked good.read more

Managed to get a last minute booking on Sunday for 23 of us! The owners... and so were unbelievably accommodating nothing was to much trouble. They were absolutely fab with the children and so lovely! The food was absolutely lovely Yorkshire puds to die for. Everything was perfect Thankyou very much.read more

We sat outside in the beer garden area, as the weather was beautiful. Made... our reservation online. Food was huge portions, we maybe should have gone for the smaller option, but it was delicious all the same, only meant we were too full for a dessert! Would definitely return, as the staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable. We even had a visitor join our table!!!read more

Wandered in by accident from the Lancaster Canal to see Glasson Dock.... Found ourselves in a mini summer festival based around the Dalton. Despite being busy the staff were really friendly the beer (and rum & coke) were good. Great place to sit outside in the summer, right in the heart of the port. Great find.read more

We came here for my birthday, we wanted to try somewhere different and I’m... glad we did! Food was amazing. Portion sizes are huge! The staff are friendly and approachable, my son enjoyed playing with the dog and the cats and unfortunately the snails… will be back in the near future. Thankyou! The chips were spot on! We met up with our parents brother and sister in law for our lunch this... week I have to say the food was absolutely beautiful we eat outside which was spotless nipped in the pub to use the facility's which again was gleaming the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the cook's was 5 star I had the homemade Dalton burger with homemade chips which was beautiful, we left my campervan on the car park which the owner gave me permission to why we took a little walk around can't recommend enough thanks again and look forward to visiting you again in the near future 😀😊read more

Stopped for an early dinner and drinks whilst visiting the area for the... weekend. Food was good, with prompt service and reasonably priced. Very dog friendly, both inside and outside. Plenty of outdoor seating, and space for motorhomes to park overnight when dining & drinking at the pub.read more

What a fantastic pub. Friendly atmosphere, very welcoming of dogs, and an... all round good vibe. Nothing was too much trouble. The management here are just so accommodating it made such a nice change to feel constantly relaxed in a pub during the post-COVID times! Very highly recommended if you’re ever in the area.
